$20k Adm? - Mn

I've been considering a new '06 GT on the lot here locally. The price is amazing right now at $5000 UNDER invoice. Hard not to pull the trigger, but......

When asked about getting a Shelby GT and providing the links necessary to educate him on what it was and what it was not, I got a reply indicating that the car could be had at $20K OVER MSRP. Even if he's mistaken for a GT500 that's nuts. No way am I going to buy a Mustang from this outfit. That sealed the deal for me on the GT. I'll just wait.

These greedy dealers will not get my business - EVER!

That being said, any dealers here in MN who actually care about these cars and their future owners? I'd like to hear from you.

Not quite sure where in MN you are located but I am in Sioux Falls, SD and can tell you that the Ford dealership here does not add any mark up to their mustangs. Now I'm not sure if they have a set allotment for the new Shelby GT but I do know they won't add an ADM to the sticker price, they never did this for the Ford GT or the Shelby 500 .. just a little bit of info for you

I saved $3,000 dollars when buying my '07 Gt by going to a dealer in a Minneapolis suburb. Dealers here in ND not willing to deal on anything. Sixty bucks for a one way ticket on Amtrak. Paid 100 bucks over invoice and drove my new car home. Stopped at another dealer in the Minneapolis area to look at a GT500. 20k over MSRP. Would love a Shelby but won't play the ADM game. I'll wait and buy a used one somewhere down the line.
