Hey, those are nice, not sure just yet ? but thinking about 255's in front and 275's out back,:D what size are you running on all four ?,any rubbing ?

5pointoh 1/8/11 11:00 AM

What offset did you get? +40 or +24? I have got +24 on mine with 255/35/20 on the front and 275/35/20 in the back and I have absolutely no regrets.

The wheels/tires are flushed with the body panels with no rubbing and my car is lowered about 1.5 inches with FRPP springs. I was worried at first, but did the research on it. The +40 offset will sit wheels/tires more into the wheel wells.

Nitto NT 555 Extremes- Front: 255/35-20, Rear: 285/30-20. Overall tire height remained the same as OEM at around 27". I'm running the 24mm offset on all 4 corners. Some like the 40mm, but they will not clear the front Brembos. I like the uniformed "bulldog" stands of the 24s... The rear is dropped about an 1" with no rubbing issues.

I am running the NT 555's as well. I find that if you go 285/30/20 in the back.....the back tire ends up being shorter than the front one. With 275/35/20 you will end up getting a taller tire which IMO will give it a more aggressive stance as the car will be slightly raked. Because of the +24mm offset you do not really notice too much of a difference in the width of the wheel 275 vs 285.

Yes, +40mm will not clear big brakes.

Front: OEM 255/45-18 = 27" vs. Nittos 255/35-20 = 27.05"
Rear: OEM 285/40-18 = 26.9" Vs. Nittos 285/30-20 = 26.93"

I wanted to stay at OEM height, hence, my decision to go with the aforementioned sizes. 275/35-20 were too tall at 27.60".

I wish they made them in black with a polished lip.

Use your old ones and get the bands. I got the bands for alot less at Discount Tire.

I had them remove the old sensors and remount the old tires on the old wheels so I could resell them. Then they put the new bands on and mounted the old sensors to them. Then after they were done they made sure they were calibrated because they had the tool to do it.

They did all of that for $22 a tire. That included the new bands. Of course I had to get the new tires from them.
