Awesome!!! Nice upgrade. Love the pics. Keep us updated, especially about the ride and stopping changes after you get a chance to test drive.

Rick, yes pull the trigger. That color will look fantastic on your car not to mention the improved braking. In Canada I paid $1950, but I think the Shelby logo ones would have been more so your $1780 is a good deal.
I went with Baer Decela Slotted and Drilled Rotors in the rear, they are OEM diameter. It was a tossup between the Decela’s and Baer 14” Eradispeed Plus II, I chose the OEM diameter to keep my options open for 15” Drag Radials. |
I always like the look of those calipers. Any idea what size/type brake pads it takes?

Here ya go:
http://www.ebcbrakes.com/automotive/..._systems.shtml EBC says it's a D731 pad: http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro...?Product=HB247 Looks like a C5/Z06/Z51 pad http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/resul...ndling+Package |
Finally completed my front brakes with the installation of Agent 47 Brake Cooling Scoops (2005 -2009 Shelby GT and California Special) and the Brake Cooling Duct Kit. Installation was pretty straight forward, with the exception that I needed to trim the driver and passenger side brackets that secure the Vortech Water Cooler Assembly to clear the Scoops and Diverters.
