My 07 GT/CS Lost in a Fire
 

There was a fire in my garage/barn yesterday late afternoon. The structure is a total loss. Thank God that there were no injuries, it really could have been so much worse than it was. The worst part is that my prized possession is totally gone. We are still awaiting word for what was the cause, and whats going to happen with the insurance company.

Damm dude. That sucks. Hope you recover quickly.

wow sorry this happened to you, glad that you and your family are fine, like you said it could have been worse thank God its only material stuff, but I do feel your pain about the car I hope that the ins. company makes you whole..

Nevertheless, doesn't make it any easier to deal with. Hope the cause is determined and insurance comes through painlessly. :nice:

Sorry to hear about your loss it's not easy losing the thing you love the most hopefully the insurance won't be a prick about it it had to be an adrenaline rush discovering that the garage is on fire and knowing your stang was in there

Wow! must had been a very hot fire ... Sorry about your gt/cs

The metal roof contained the heat, firemen had a hardtime putting it out.
The heat was so great the wheels vaporized to nothing. I was sad to see my brothers car lost, we had some great times together attending Mustang Week and Ford Carlisle.

That is terrible, I'm really sorry to hear about that happening to anyone. On the bright side, at least the garage wasn't attached to the house.

wow! so sorry for that. i know that if that happened to me i would lose more than the cars...my garage is under my house so my house would go up as well. life is more precious. savor the memories and pay tribute to what you had. count your blessings that it didnt do any more damage than what it did. you can rebuild. bigger, better....

You must be devastated over losing a great looking ride BUT you have your house and no one got injured. Now you can start saving for the 2013 GT500!! Good luck dealing with in ins co.

I heard about this over on NYM but never saw any pics, man I'm sorry to hear about your garage and your car. The wheels vaporizing is insane, must have been extremely hot! At least you and your family is ok though

Update for my brother, Insurance Co. For the car hasn't returned any of his phone calls since the first day he contacted them.

Right now he's in the air with what car he wants to replace it with, he's leaning towards a 2013 GT/CS in White/Black again with a glass roof.

I feel bad he's going from a beautiful car that was paid for to car payments again..that blows..:(

I ordered a new gt/cs in performance white on friday . After i lost my 2007 gt/cs show car in a garage fire in february. I will miss my baby.:( Here are the packages i will be ordering on the new one .I will be getting the D plan :D

You will LOVE IT, 5.0 is such an amazing motor for our cars!!! congratz, get the barn rebuilt? I noticed the camper was gone to, get that replaced?

Absolutely heart wrenching to see the pics of your pride and joy burnt to a crisp.

...But, that new 5.0 looks beautiful, and I hope you really enjoy it.

i still miss my 06, but i traded that in, not lost in a fire. i would have been devastated.
enjoy. the new models with the 5.0 are a real treat to have.

I found out this morning that someone sideswiped my passenger side front bumper. -_-
Not to mention I park my CS far away from other cars.

Man, it's always nice to see someone getting a happy ending after such a loss. What a nice replacement. As was said earlier, different, but very nice nonetheless. Hope you got your garage replaced as well. Glad to see you kept your replacement in the family!
