Nice ride, we need pics.

One question though...is this car for you or the bride? I really hope it's for her because i would hate to see you get talked out of a car that you wanted for yourself.

Well, I hear that some people are finding new GT500's for MSRP, but I still hear about far more that are still paying ADM's to get one. I work at a dealership that has awesome prices way below MSRP on just about everything except GT500's, and we've gotten an ADM on all eight that we've had so far. 2 of our 2007's went for $25K over MSRP, 4 of our 2007's went for $10K over MSRP, our first two 2008's went for $8K over MSRP, and we're currently sold out. All of these GT500's sold quickly, so we did not have to sit on them forever to get ADM's. Our remaining 2008 GT500's will be priced as they arrive, but I suspect they'll command ADM's. We're getting closer and closer to MSRP, but just aren't there yet.

I should point out that I do not set pricing where I work, I'm just reporting what has been happening.

Congrats on your new set of wheels! Don't look back, your wife is happy, and you'll be real happy as soon as the weather clears.

We'll look at pics of cars tucked in garages, too

This becoming more and more common.

IMHO, ADMs are dead.

I talked to my dealer when I picked up my car and he informed me that evey GT500 they recieved in 2008 would be 10,000 over and they only sell to existing customers. I then told him that he was lucky that my wife is a loyal person or I would have made a road trip to south west Indiana to pick up a GT500 for MSRP.
