Bassani exhaust sound?
Anyone ever heard bassani off road xpipe with basani axleback mufflers on these shelby gt500 yet? If so what you think about it?

I would stay away from the Xpipe. Hpipes sound so much better. And all the stainless systems sound pretty much the same. I really think the welded aluminum mufflers sound do much better on a mustang. Just my opinion.

Here's some good comparison clips I found. The Bassani are really high pitched. I still think the Mac sound the best. SLP ain't bad either.

Unless there are a lot of Shelby's around with aftermarket exhaust, it'll be hard to make a decision. I can't tell from youtube vids. You could get an idea by listening to Mustang GT's, but my FRPP Stingers sounded a little different on my GT than they do on my GT500.

No, not yet. Just bought the car in August, so I haven't done much to it yet. I know I won't do an X pipe, though. Too raspy sounding for my taste. If I do one it'll be an H. I actually love the sound of my car just like it is. I know if I get rid of the cats it'll be louder than I like.

I had a buddy who had them on a 2003 GT & I thought they sounded great. Of course, totally different setup on that car with mufflers in front of the axles. They did sound off nicely though.
