Moroso catch can installed. Anybody here have this catch can? One hose connector is tight but the one near the battery seems like it wants to be tighter but that would require another full turn which seems difficult to do. I'm afraid to try it and locking it up without getting around all the way. Any ideas on this? It's seems tight enough but want to make sure

I went to see it yesterday, but I left the stang at home since it was raining. It had some good one liners in it and overall it was a good movie. The ending was touching.
I ordered new tires for my car today. Nitto NT555's 265/30/20 fronts and Nitto NT05 305/30/20's rear. as long as they can source them within a week or 2. find out monday.
what y'all think? Good setup? I wanted to go Mich. SS's but 3 month nationwide backorder on my sizes killed that idea.
they are going on these...

Passed my second state inspection and like last year it took two times to do it. Last year I had a VMP tune and specifically told them I had to pass a OBDII inspection so I needed the 02's on but 1st round everything was turned off. This year with my local shops dyno tune told them the same thing but once again 02's turned off. They adjusted the tune and I passed round two.
Texas has moved to a one sticker system so I'm glad to have only one sticker instead of two on the windshield from now on.

Will look like these when done. The only thing that sucks is i can't do the big brake kit this year. new house is priority, so these tires are about the only mod i can do for a while.
PLUS i might drop her another 1/4-1/2" for show season. I have adjustable suspension so that's easy

Drove over to MRT to pick it up - replacement engine is done after last year's catastrophic failure the first time I took it WOT after the turbo install.
Nice easy drive coming home, kept it out of boost until I can get it dyno tuned; no faith in the BBR supplied tune on the new engine. This is what we found in the oil pan of the old engine:

Chunks of piston skirt. Haven't done a tear down to see what all is damaged. Compression testing showed problems on 2 pistons, one on each bank.
If this snow will stop falling I'll get the catch can back on the car, and take care of a few other items.

Was hoping to change the oil, re install the battery, and giver her the first startup of the year, but with it snowing like mad here, I lost any diseire to work on cars. So I spent my Amazon gift card on detailing supplies for her, and hoping to get some work done on her later in the week.
Its still probably 2-3 weeks from being able to drive it, but I want to have her detailed and ready to go once the salt is completely off the roads.
