Youve been oddly quiet this week. Did you misplace your poking stick?

For cruisin', I like "All Summer Long"

Wow this thread is pretty close to homo. In the changer I have SRV, Social Distortion, and Powerman 5000 at all times.

I thought of another one...

Vitalic - My Friend Dario. The video is a joke; but it's a fast paced alternative track that lends to driving fast.

Off topic for Driving but towards this post specifically.... I spent a few hours last night trying to find the perfect song for this video. While the song is about a minute short, it just FITS this video to a T!!

Mute the GoPro soundtrack and instead play Down, and see how perfectly the song just works with the video, it's amazing.

Really into Seether lately, so I'd add "Gasoline" to my 'gotta drive' Playlist.

Ahh what the heck...

For me A7X, Sidewinder. The Rev hits the cymbols in the opening = hard launch every time.

Love it.

I'm totally hooked, I start the GoPro vid and play Down til the end, pause the vid, back it up to 1:10 and then start No Resolution. Playback on full 1080p is freakin' awesome. I'm gonna do this later today on my home theater just to see how it looks on a 67" HDTV with, uh, just the right amount of volume.

Yeah, I don't have the new album, but have their first 3-4 albums.

...a couple others I like...

Bad Company - Five Finger Death Punch
You're Going Down - Sick Puppies

Well first the id drive the car without the radio and listen to the real soundtrack
And then after that id probably play Fuel by Metallica, perfect car song. Plus I really love the drum section during the chorus, test out the stock system with it.

I'd probably have to go with Queen - don't stop me now to set the mood for the lifetime of the car followed by the rolling stones- paint it black. And then make a playlist with a lot of your suggestions. Good stuff here guys

Depends on where you're driving - and for how long. And, if you're alone. From Dire Straits and Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music to Paul Simon and Steely Dan, the list is long and great. Try Joe Cocker - "You Can Leave Your Hat On." Again, it just depends.

I really like the juke box - I usually pop in a couple of CDs if I'll be driving for 20 minutes or more, and listen to something else, as they record at 3-4 times the speed they play at. I have 700 songs on it so far, but about 2,000 to go!
