Traded My Knight Rider Mustang For 5.0
Dealer offered me such a great buy, I couldn't resist! Had my 2007 V6 Premium looking just like the Knight Rider car, right down to the lights. The owner of Gary Yeoman Ford in Daytona, Fl loved it so much, he gave me almost $5K more than any other dealer....or $18k trade in. Then worked him for my 2011 GT with Brembo, 3.73, and over the top stripe to invoice, no dealer fee, and a great interest rate.
Loving the new 5.0! It's a beast! Had Justin at VMP dyno it, and it had 375 RWHP with only 500 miles on the odo.
I think this thing is quicker than my old 2007 Shelby GT500!!

Just got this one! When it expires in 2 years, I'll get another. For some reason, everytime I get a vanity plate specific to a car, I always get a new car within 2 months!

Converting my 2011 to Boss 302
Well my 2011 is coming along. I am still waiting for my stripe guy to complete my Boss stripe design. I just added the CDC front Spoiler and the Roush Heritage Rear Louvers. So, what do you guys think about the look so far?

i like the louvers, they are also very nice at keeping the light out from the back and keeps it cool on a hot day. i had them on my 05 V6 and loved the functional aspect

Thanks! The louvers were made by Roush, and originally retailed for $799, got a closeout at $425.00. The are designed to look and fit just like the original 1969-70 Boss Mustangs. I will soon be adding a Boss stripe to complete my retro Boss 302. I know they are not to everyone's likeing, but they are an original aspect to the Boss, and since the Mustang is a retro design, I think they work quite well. Plus as 20115 says, they help keep the interior cooler....which here in Florida is a big plus!

The roush ones are the best quality wise ones and you got a killer deal on em.
Everyone has differnt tastes in exterior mods, some will not like and some will like.
But its your car, you should do what YOU like.
BTW, is it harder to see from your rear window in those?

Not at all...it's kind of like looking through venitian blinds. I know this mod is a love/hate with must Mustang guys, but when you consider that the 2005-2011 Mustangs are retro 1969-1970 design, this just sort of works in my opinion. The Rear Louvers, or sport slats were originally designed for the 1969 Boss 302. I think it's time Ford did a Retro Boss, and Mach 1 model.
If you're looking for some...here is the link to the place I got them. Awesome people!!
