Strano Performance Phones are down, please read.
When I came into work today, I discovered all the phones are down. PLEASE, please leave a message if you call, and when they are working I'll call you back ASAP.
You can also feel free to e-mail me @ strano@stranoparts.com or hit me up vai PM, and I'll do my best to help you via e-mail. While not preferred over a real person to person conversation it's all I can do right now.
Thank you for your understanding.

That's easy.

Please note that nobody makes a '12 specific strut (you probably knew that). All you need is a set of Ford Racing M-18183-C mounts and these STR.T's will be direct fit to your car. Do it all the time, and Ford even does the same thing for their own kits for the 2011+ cars.

I wouldn't say nobody...Eibach does: http://www.americanmuscle.com/eibiac...mper-1112.html
I'll still be going with STR.T's from Sam though. The singing reviews are worth it.

Well, that's a new part, and I have those too (for less money than they do @ $429.99/set). But let me rephrase in that nobody has truly good dampers (those aren't so hot I think you have much better choices) that are specific fit.
The Koni's have a lifetime warranty too, vs. the 2 year warranty of the Eibach's. But I've also added the Eibach Pro-Dampers to the website for anyone looking at those.

I can get them for you if you want, or I can just recommend some places to get them. I don't get a very good deal on them, Ford Racing won't talk to me, I guess I'm not worth their trouble.

Here is what my car looks like with the "Strano suspension package" and I couldn't be happier with it and the handling. As for those mounts, I got a set from LMR like Uin2it pointed out - actually I just got a set from them to steal the rubber pieces that I used on the Steeda mounts.

Well, I was going to keep quiet about it until after I picked up a set, but Koni is almost ready to release the Sport(Yellow) dampers for the '11-'12 Mustangs. The rears are the same as the '10 model year. The part number is up for the fronts, but no price or online purchase as of yet.

Let me stop you right there. The 2005-2010 strut part number 8741-1494Sport was out for 2.5 years (not weeks, not months... YEARS) before those showed up.
I assure you that I am in close contact with Koni on the matter, and you won't see those any faster, and likely after the next shipment of the struts they've produced since 2008 (and obviously can't keep up with).
Look, if/when the 2011+ specific struts show up, great. But except for needing different strut mounts to run the older version, you can run the older one on the car without issue. I do. I did most of the measuring for Koni, and shipped Koni my '11 struts for inspection, the only difference is the top of strut's rod and how they fit the upper mounts.

The stroked of the shock is not 1.5" shorter. Seriously, have you actually seen both side by side? The difference is all in how long the piece above the step in the rod is.
I'm well aware of the 2011 specific part number, again I was very involved in helping Koni understand the differences.

Well, honestly no. I seen the difference in the top of the rod via the Maximum Motorsports instruction manual. My bad. It's good that you have a tight relationship with Koni.

With all due respect that's the issue with relying on pictures and the internet wisdom. The stroke is no different, spacers are used on some upper mounts because the top of the rod on the 8741-1494's is longer (all above the functional damping portion of the strut) and you need the spacer to push it down if the mount is not thick enough, lest the adjuster hits the hood.
Seriously, and I say this with all honesty.... the only thing that's different is the upper mount. If the current strut is first available (and I believe it will be) all you need is an upper mount that's correct to install it, period. If the 2011+ version comes out at the same time, great.... we'll run that instead.

Strano Performance phone issues: Mostly fixed
I want to thank you all for your patience with the phone systems issues I've had (the old one blew up).
814-849-3450 is up and working full time, and just fine. The other numbers including the lines the toll-free comes in on are still down. I hope to have a new system installed this week and be done with the entire mess.
I repeat that 814-849-3450 is working, and the other lines will go to voicemail, and I will get any messages left on those other numbers and will return the calls just as soon as I can.
Thanks, and I'm sorry for the post on various forums, but it's the best way to let folks know what's up.
