In many cases if you have an opinion on this issue yiou can make it known today somewhere it matters (It was last tuesday in my case).

Skip shift happened to me last night twice. Hated it bad! Had the wife in the car so was taking it easy. It lugs the motor because of the low rpms.

Its a matter of time for the aftermaker to defete it It cant cost much.

The only time I've had it skip shift on me was when i wasn't paying attention and it just sort of fell into 4th. The message pop's up quite a bit driving around town, but it's never forced me into 4th.

i dont get it. if skip shift kicks in when ur ready to shift from 1st gear and by the time u get on the clutch ur below 20mph, wouldnt it be a little bit bad to go to 4th? i mean isnt that too low of a speed for 4th gear?
