Should I....

Roush-ify my car? When I ordered it, Roush '13s weren't really out and about.

I inquired when I got mine about them converting it, but now it's got 30k on it and other mods.

Thing is, I already have GT/CS grilles, fogs, and rear diffuser. I'd end up replacing all of those and the rear spoiler (3DCarbon) with Roush Equivalents.

I have been lusting at some wheels, but I DO like the Roush wheels, so I could go for it.

If I were to do it, I'd go all the way though. Get it to be exactly what's in a stage 1, then change my suspension to what's in a stage 2.

I dunno. just a thought.

Will Roush not build it now that there's 30k on the clock?
You know it will be done right and be done in a one shot deal.
Good luck!

I've talked about this with Roush, shoot me a pm and I'll see if we can get you taken care of. Our shop should be completely up and running in July/ August if permits don't hold us up. Honestly, if you buy a full kit we'll really take care of you on the install and we'll be a roush certified installer

Roush will do it or you can have a Roush installer do it but they will not number the car or technically certify it.

Hi Danielle.

For what it's worth, a grabber blue convertible "Roush-ified" would be really sweet! Love those Roush wheels!

Danielle... where did this come from? You are interested in so many things, I don't remember which is which now. At one point you want to sell your car, then trade your car for a Shelby, then the different wheels, and now a Roush-ified car? I'm confused

But my advice, keep what you have... as is. Until all things stabilize. You have a beautiful car as it is, with the current mods you have.

Just badly looking for a distraction, with all of this Leukemia business going on, and feeling like my world just crashed in on me.

I know chances are, I'll be fine and survive, but there is a part of me that's afraid it'll get worse and I'll never get to do the stuff I wanted to when I was healthy enough to do so.

Gotcha. Instead of modding the car even further, or getting a different car altogether, how about taking the car you have now and doing some autocross or road course time with it? A great way to clear the mind, focus on something else and release some pent up "energy".

Waiting for those top down days. Those are my freedom days.

I'm thinking I'm going to do it, but I'm keeping my Le Mans stripes. Might do the grilles, but not required.

I have the front splitter ready to go on. I want to do the side and rear splitters, spoiler, and find a way to get the rear valance and *somehow* adapt Roush tips to the Borla mufflers, as I don't want to change my mufflers.

I think you should get the wheels you've been lusting after and keep building the car the way you want. You've done a great job so far. It would be more unique that way. Otherwise it will be just another Roush. Don't get me wrong, Roush Mustangs are awesome and all. Hope that makes sense.
