Yeah. I just found it today and posted it also, although I think you beat me to it.
I'm very excited about an SVO revival. Its a one of a kind car, that's for sure.

An I4 Mustang in todays environment is just what is needed for the Ford Mustang community. I think that a Normally aspirated, and boosted application is warranted. Of course, the N/A version should come with the same engine as the turbo. This way, it can be upgraded later if the owner decides..
In my opinion, Ford is foolish to wait until 2010. Why not make a 2008 1/2 I4 Turbo. With gas prices so outrageous, Ford needs to cook something up real quick. The demand is there.
Too quickly release an I4 Turbo with 300HP which gets 35MPG would be a wonderful way in which to show how dedicated Ford is to the demand of its customers needs. The target and competition for the I4 Turbo Mustang would be the BMW 335i and 135i. Both of which are magnificent cars. Ford would need the SVO to dominate both.
Take a look at the competition.. I warn you however, the 135i is a little straight six beast! The 3.5LTT may have to deal with that one.. LOL!

You can see that the 135i price point is set at $34900.. So getting the SVO in the sub $30K range is a must. Somewhere around $26K-$28K is imperative..
The Mustang SVO already has some potent competition to deal with. It will be compared to these two vehicles no doubt..

Also to make sure I am being honest.. I almost pulled the trigger on the 335i about 3 months ago. I went for a test drive and the dealer called me for 2 weeks to come pick it up at MSRP of $41K with the sport package, without navigation..
So I am getting anxious to make a move soon.. An SVO would be right up my alley.. However in all honesty, the 335i test drive was nuts. That car has amazing handling. It does not squeal the tires at all in the corners, and accelerates pretty good for 300HP.. Sure it didn't pull as hard as my current Mustang, however the handling was exceptional.. Its definitely on my short list..
The news of the SVO is great as far as I am concerned. Now I have another option..

Hopefully Ford has figured out a way for the turbo or turbos not consume as much motor oil as they did 20 years ago.
