Sad Day For My 2011 GT :(
Well it was a great month and half with my brand new, spotless, Black 5.0.
A big hail storm hit in Calgary, AB (Canada) yesterday: http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/St...993/story.html
And of course my parking spot downtown is uncovered and my car now has over 100 dents on it from the golf ball sized hail:
The cellphone pics don't quite show all the damage, but you get the idea. Not thrilled about how long it will take to get it fixed either - 2 to 3 month waits possibly at body shops because of the number of cars damaged yesterday.
I know this isn't really an informative post, but I need to vent.......

Friggin Canadian weather eh? Sorry to hear that man. I'm going to pick mine up in about an hour and I was a bit miffed that I have to drive it in the rain to get it back home...
I don't feel so bad anymore, insurance cover weather damage?

Hail is crazy. We had a hailstorm roll through a month or so ago. Every car parked in the street was totally covered in dimples. My dad has a new Chevy Traverse and it was almost $8000 in damage. My mom's car has over $5000 in damage. This was all a matter of 2-3 minutes of hail.
The local Honda dealer had hundreds of cars totally destroyed. They fixed all the cars and had a crazy "hail sale" - cars were marked down big time. It must have cost millions to the insurance comp.

BUMMER! This makes me want to carry 3 inches of thick foam with me to slap on top of the car in the event of a hail storm. Of course some a$$hat will probably take it off the car if I do that. . .

Sorry to see this, I can tell you a good pdr ( paintless dent removal) guy can make your car look new again all but the roof since he can't access the sheetmetal from inside. But all the other panels he can make new. Good luck.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. It hailed here the day I picked up my car, but it was so hot outside that the hail was slush by the time it reached my car. :WHEW:
