S197 Connector List
I put this guide together for people who are getting deep into the electrical aspect of the cars.
S197 Mustang Connectors I, for one, do not like splicing into my car's electrical system. So, I started a project where, anytime I want to divert a signal, be it power or data, I would make an interconnect harness. Basically, a harness where you unplug two connectors in your car and fit yours between. In order to do this, it is far FAR cheaper to source the terminals and connectors and pin them yourself, than to buy pigtails. For Example: https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com...SoT1qfDFMk7zDQ WPT-934 (the grey connector on the top) is current $67 on That same connector is $1.37 on Digikey The terminals are $10 for 100+ and the tool to crimp them is $15. You could buy spools of wire for cheap and still come out for far FAR less. Here are some examples of interconnect harnesses I have made: Power diverting harness at headlight switch https://www.s197forum.com/attachment...cde34f56d7c02a Power Diverting Harness at Traction Control Switch https://www.s197forum.com/attachment...cde34f56d7c02a RGB Diverting Harness https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com...fRnbubZxoDbIsQ I will happily accept any additional connectors you all have found as well. |
I've started to add S550 connectors for a project I am working on.

Hey, were you able to find the DigiKey part numbers for connector C210 (S197)? I'm enjoying the document you put together! |
Hey guys,
Updated the formatting since I wasn't happy with how it looked before. Added in wire colors to make it easier to identify the wire you are looking for. https://www.fordgt500.com/attachment...igh&width=1920 |

No Info on Pins At The Present! I List 05 & 07 Cause The 07 Shows Pigtails as The Cataloging Was Getting Better Detailed! KC |
Thank you 05stangkc. On his list he actually provides the connector pins and links to where to buy them. That's one powerful list.

I Figured He Had That Info Somewhere!
Thought I Would add What I Could! KC |
