You would have a few tough parts. But a really good exhaust guy could probably make it close. Your first hang up would be your O2 sensors. Second you would likely have to go catless which would require a tune. And you would have to live in a State that does not require emissions testing. Third is our rockers are plastic. And those pipes get Hot! Not sure how close the pipes could be without warping or melting the rockers. If the pipes are placed too low then you will run into clearance issues. I have always liked side pipes. Part of why I have the Boss 302 side pipes on mine. I hope you can find someone to do it! If you do please post pictures. I would suggest doing some photo shop action first. I am nervous that the pipes will look out of place on a S197. And you would hate to spend a large amount of money on something like this and then be unhappy in the final result. Also understand that a 4 valve 4 cam Coyote is not going to sound anything like a push rod V8 with these pipes. Good Luck! Keep us posted.

The biggest hangup is that it's going to look ridiculous...our cars don't have the body to support such an exhaust. It will look out of place.

I think as said one of your biggest problem is going to be O2 sensors, trying to have straight pipes come off the headers is going to be a tough thing to do. Then you don't really have the room for the primaries to come through the wheel well and if you try coming out around the floor board you are going to run into major clearance issues I would venture to guess. I think this is the closest you are going to get to that to be honest. These aren't C1 and C2 Corvettes where people make these things as kits.

Also, I feel that it should be pointed out that without an X or H pipe, you will lose performance.

Clearance was my first concern, thanks for the insight.
