The car in the original post has only 800 miles. Perhaps he, too, will pick up a few extra ponies and more torque as his engine breaks in...?

Yes poor video quality, but come on guys, you should all know that you can't say things like
"I got that much with just a tune" or "I dynoed 400 rwhp stock"
Unless you were on the same dyno and preferably the same day, those statements mean jack.

I tell you something, thinking about 4.6s with generally like 280-295 RWHP and looking at these vids with essentially stock 5.0s doing 400+ is just completely and totally amazing. What an engine this thing is.

Hey I bet my V6 pulls 300+ RWHP with just a dyno mod... er... tune.

If I cared.

You kind of have a point. But I get to laugh at the gas pump AND almost no one outside of the Mustang enthusiast community will ever even notice that I have a V6 instead of a V8. I was looking at a '99 GT the other day and thinking how "slow" it was. It's all relative.

This is true. I've been looking at 99-01 Cobras lately, because insurance is much cheaper than a new car, but it's sad they have pretty much the same hp as the new V6, and WAY worse mpg.

I don't read every single post made by every single member. Hence the, "Hope you were kidding . . " part of my post. And since you were, no harm done . . . . .
