Outside temp indicator?

Do the 2010's and 11's not have an outside temperature display?

I don't see any indication that they do in the manual. Has a compass though...

scottgekko 5/30/10 10:52 AM

They do, or at least the cars without the nav screen do. It's in the display on the center stack. The compass is on one side of the display, the outside temp on the other.

nav equipped 10's have it. Upper right hand corner of the screen.

since I couldn't find one of the 2010+

I scrounged up one of the Ford Fusion. But it's the exact same 100% display. Direction in left. Outside temp in the right.

Thanks guys. I thought it should have one, glad to see that in fact it does.

Jeebers... look at that scratched up bezel/lens cover on the radio. :bad: My Taurus was like that (worse) when I picked it up and 5 months later I'm still waiting to get it replaced. One of my biggest gripes about the plastic bezels on the gauges/radio and the piano black trim... if you touch it, it scrathes. :( The angle of the Mustang radio is such that it doesn't show as badly... and I know I'll probably scratch it myself at some point, but it shouldn't be that way when they give it to you.

Yep, on the Mustang the direction and temp are on the radio face.

Nice temp Grabber!! 96 degrees, just like SC in summer!

Can US market made cars be switched from farenheit to celcius cuz i'm getting the car in the US and bringing it back here in Canada. I don't mind getting the smaller KM/H digits vs MPH odometer though. Maybe Michael can chime in on this one.

I just checked on mine for you. Yes, you can change from ENG to Metric which changed my temp reading to celcius on the display.

Cool, thanks for checking it out for me. I knew my 2009 CDN Escape did it, but wasn't sure about vice-versa. :nice:

Yep, it's been nearly 100 here in Dallas the past few days. The 2011 Mustang GT A/C system is working good!

My V-6 has the outside temperature, time and compass on the upper right hand side of the Nav. screen. I didn't notice it had these things until reading this Thread LOL!!!

I don't know why ... LOL

I just turned on the ignition key for the photo and that was playing. I don't have an issue with Norah Jones, though. Not on my usual playlists, however.

coffeejolts 5/31/10 11:15 PM

Why would anyone make fun of Norah Jones? She doesn't make what I'd call spirited driving music, but she is a great musician.

That was the first thing I noticed but I decided not to mention it. :stirpot:
