Smile Out of winter hybernation

FINALLY, after 5 months of being put away my car is now out of winter hibernation. I adjusted the tire pressure, checked the oil and fluids and even installed the GT500 exhaust and a Barton shifter bracket. It feels SO good to finally drive the Mustang again. And now it sounds better than ever!

So how about the other people in the northern parts? Are your Mustangs on the road yet?

I'm guessing it'll be a few more weeks for me. Roads in the Twin Cities (Central MN) are still covered with salt, sand and potholes. Bike is in storage yet too. Useless time of the year.

Wow, brave! I would have to have winter tires, and I chose to order a set of track day tires instead. Besides, I have another beater 4X4 which does way better is the snow and salt

Very easily

I choose to, because I can afford to.
I choose to, because I don't want the salt to beat the *** out of my car.
I choose to, because others seem to forget how to drive in the winter.
et cetera

I stored my 00 every winter, babied it, did all that winter crap, yadda yadda and it still fell apart on me.

I won't ever tell anyone how to live their life but I learned a lesson with my first Mustang. I drive my cars year round.

Me: Drive it as much as possible because that's what it's for. Tomorrow is not a promise! Realize it's an object and Live each day as if it is your last!

I promise the snow won't bother you with this is mind

Most lambos are awd now so with snow tires it would actually be pretty good in the snow haha

it's true. my neighbors have a lambo murcie…something or other, and a cayenne, but i have seen them out in the lambo in full on snow. my other neighbor with the gulf colored ford gt never takes that out though.

And that's why you get a winter car. That pretty much sits for 6 mos of summer.

Also I the twin cities. Mines out....couldn't wait any longer. I will admit, I thought I would drive it a lot in the winter but discovered with the stock Pzeros....it's absolutely the scariest car I've ever driven in my life when the temps fall below zero. I'm pretty convinced I can break the tires loose at 60 mph.

Drove sons 4x4 for winter since he's at school in Atlanta. Kind of missed my crew cab with 12" of snow on the ground.....but really smiled when the Pony hit the road

If I could afford a Lambo. I would live in the deep south or southwest where I wouldnt have to worry about snow.
