Out with the old, in with the new...

Lost a 2010, gained a 2012. Ordered February 1st, built April 15th, delivered yesterday.

They kinda look like twins that were separated at birth. That's rust from the rail car on the hood of the new one. I asked the dealership not to wash it. I wanted to do that myself.

Looking forward to driving it to Huntsville this weekend for the RCMC 31st Annual. http://www.rocketcitymustang.com/

Thanks! Yeah, I wasn't sure about them until I saw them in person. They are really nice and I've already gotten a few compliments on them.

Sorry about your car not coming in the way you ordered. You won't be thinking about that after it's fixed the way you want and you're cruising around in it. I think you're going to enjoy the Electronics pkg.

Love the perf. white with the glass roof, but obviously so do you lol. Good taste. I can't decide if I like those new wheels on the 12's or not...GT500-esque but there's something different... Plan to mod?

Love the wheels - glass roof on white is perfection. Great look all around.

I was thinking of ordering with those wheels so I have a set of 18s - then getting 20s later.

Thank you. Mods, hmm, tint and clear bra tomorrow. Black vinyl blackout for the trunk should be arriving any day (https://www.rockymountaingraphics.co...&search=&page=). I'm thinking about Koni STR.T Street shocks and struts but not sure about replacing the springs or just keeping them stock. That's about it for now. I'm just going to enjoy it for a while.

Maybe a new front fascia down the road but undecided on which one. I really like the one from Saleen...

I had been looking at wheels similar to these to replace the ones I had. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they had changed them for 2012.

Like the glass roof. Looks like you have Saddle interior as well. My 2012 has Saddle interior and I love it. Could you please post a picture of the trunk after you install the black vinyl blackout? I considering this mod for my car. But anyways congrats and enjoy your new ride.

What kind of hit did you take on trading in the '10?

I think the wheels on your '10 may be the best looking ones Ford makes (made?). They aren't the ones I would've picked had I ordered mine... but they're what was on it. Didn't particularly like them at first, but now that I notice every Mustang that drives by, those wheels just look best to me. Especially on black or white.

They gave me 23,500 and my payoff was just over 22,000. I looked at it like a 20 month lease. I haven't kept a car for more than two years in a long, long time.

Somebody, in a different post, mentioned getting 26,000 for their 2010 on trade. Honestly, I think it depends on location, dealer, etc. Speaking for myself, I was happy with the deal.

X-plan
$500 rebate
$750 coupon
2.49% for 60 mos.

Makes me feel good I got a deal. Same options on my 10 I got used for well trade in value. I paid $22,500 was a trade on a BMW and the dealer just wanted to get rid of it. Didn't fit in with their Germans. Lol
