Ordering a 2012 V6 and help/advice.
Hi all,
I'm new here but have been lurking for the last few months. I'm close to ordering a 2012 V6 Pony Package and would like some input before I make the final call.
So to give you the short version (all prices are canadian dollars), the final invoice price is $32,996 and they offered me $33,600. After a $2000 rebate it came to $31,600 before taxes. Then I also have a $1000 tax applicable rebate. Total price was $35,342 after taxes.
This is for a V6 Premium auto, red candy, pony package, interior upgrade, saddle leather, electronics package, remote start and rear camera.
I went in on my lunch today and the dealer wanted me to order on the spot. I told him I'd call him later today so fast responses are appreciated.
So any opinions? Good deal or can I get better? Thank you all very much for your time.

I'm a huge fan of the Performance Package which Canada didn't get last year. But its not for anyone who drives on poorly maintained roads or who has to have an automatic. Also I don't know about the tires with the Canadian Performance package because the US comes with summer only tires and they aren't kidding.
I doubt it would make sense for you but just throwing it out just in case you weren't aware/familiar. A Performance package V6 handles FAR better than the other V6s and even the GT without Brembo package.

I know. I think you can get the Performance Package AND the Pony Package on the same car in the US (unless they changed that for 2012). If I am thinking of the MCA package being available with the Performance Package and have that wrong, sorry.

Yeah, MCA is available here with the PP but not the pony.

That depends on how you drive. Whatever percent of max cornering you choose to drive on the street, that translates to higher speeds, higher Gs, not to mention a better "feel". There are lots of places on my routes that I get a grin from the Performance package that I don't get driving most of my cars in the same places. Like sex, you don't need to spend a high percent of your day doing it to REALLY enjoy it.
