OBD2 port and boost

Can the OBD2 port give a boost read out? I'm looking at using the Aeroforce interceptor as a gauge and i feel like im getting mixed input from searching google.

Owners manual says obd II port has boost data? I don't think so.

Op, I know this topic was from your other thread, but I have conversed with a few vendors about the aeroforce, also a couple other sources. 5.0 GTs don't give manifold pressure (ie boost) readouts.

You need to install this sensor if you want to measure boost:

No sensor needed on my 2013 Cyclone
The obd2 port sends all parameters

Maybe my assumptions wrong but without any FI shouldn't it show 0 boost?

Or if i were to install a legit boost gauge would it still show boost?

Good luck with that. Those 10 dollar obd devices are garbage.
GoPoint makes a reliable auto power on/off , latency free dongle.
Try dashCommand. Much more advanced than torque.

Works okay to monitor basic stuff.

I'm not using it to monitor boost but temps and stuff and it was what maybe 20$ total? I won't lose sleep over it.

I bought a legit roush boost gauge anyway.

It doesn't work ok at all. I wouldn't leave it plugged in over night either. Have heard of them draining the battery.
IMO that would have been 20 bucks towards a good working model.
It's a learning experience.
Tip. It's cheap for a reason
