New 2010 rendering

Not seen this one before, but it's clearly based on the Road & Track cover car. Don't think this is a repost.

OK, no hips and the wrong mirrors etc, but the lights are probably pretty accurate.

The original. Hmmm, not sure which I prefer.

Talking ????

Without the hips I really don't see too much noticeable change.

Real nice looking regardless.

Those idiots at R&T didn't even turn the horse in the correct direction. It always points left. And there design is very un-creative- just a change to the grille shape and the lower bumper and hood of the 2003 concept?

As for the Photoshop re-do, the headlamp looks right, but that lower bumper is all wrong- looks like a red zip tie separating the outside and main lower grille. And whats with the Lincoln MKS grille texture?

Sometimes I wonder where they get these photoshoppers. I always noticed them leaving out things, like forgetting to turn the emblems and crap. Sad that it takes a degree in graphics arts to be able to make chops for a magazine like that.

i like the concept Ford is going for with the setup, it just needs to be tweeked a little bit:
the lights need to be a bit larger - as is they are totally overwhelmed by the chrome surround.
the whole setup needs to be a little bit taller and better centered with the headlight.
the surround needs to be slightly thinner, less ostentatious, less blingy (sorry, the only way i could think to put it.
finally, it might help if it where a polished aluminum rather than chrome, though the chrome matches the chrome pony, so if the surround was a bright polished aluminum then the pony would probably need to be as well, which in my opinion would be a good thing.

still, overall, i like it, as long as it is done right and doesnt look like it is some aftermarket rice that the ricers tend to buy and put on their ricemobiles.

on a side note, has anyone seen the new released photo of the production camaro?
notice that the same kind of design has now shown up on that as well. previously, there was a single round light inboard of a dual headlamp setup. now, there is a single headlight with a stacked signal setup similar to what we see here - just without the chrome surround.
