My first nick/scratch and only 3 weeks
Ya today I washed my car and what do I discover some *** HOLE cant parallel park on the street and hit the front cover of the car, its maybe a 1" long with some of the rubber of the front cover not much I guess latter today ill get some spray touch up, mask it off spray heavy and then wax the **** out of it and hope it blends and matches ? Ill take any suggestions if you have a better idea, I don't think its worth a trip to the body shop.

Driving almost 200 miles round trip per day, I would cringe the first week I owned my Mustang when checking the car. I would find the tiny stone nicks; one here, one there. Then I realized that it's just going to happen, and use the touch up paint to cover them. Short of parking the car (which an't going to happen), I just face the fact and live with it.

This is what I'm going to do.
maybe fill the nick so there is a sharp edge again and the get some pray to match from Auto Zone, the new cans have the fan spray. Mask off the small area then spray and then when dry Ill WET sand it with 2000 grit paper and then polish it out of it and that should fix it ? Seen this video, not to hard.

stay away from auto zone spray paints. it won;t match and will likely look worse.
polish it up first. then either get some touch up paint from the dealer or try dr colorchip for some touch up paint.
If you aren't happy with how it looks after, one thing you can do is get a new take-off bumper cover from ebay or one of those places for less than $400 or a body shop can probably fix it for a couple of hundred.

A Man Just Needs Some....
There are guys that go to the dealerships and all they do is spot fix. Pretty cheap too. Ask a couple local dealership used car departments about getting in contact with one of them.

Call your Insurance company. Tell you agent what happened. It may be covered under the comprehensive section of your policy. Never know until you call. The car is just too new to booger it up, I would let the pros fix it correctly.
