My 5.0 Engine Dressed for Shows

I added a custom set of high quality chrome Coil covers and coolant tank covers, backlit with blue LED. Also a carbon fiber battery cover, overhead blue LEDs, Power Mod Cover, Brake fluid cover, CDC shaker hood scoop, Struts, and finally Chrome covers on all the caps. Hopefully this will look good at the Ford show in Ocala this Jan.

Looks very cool

Impressive! My engine will probably stay stock, no use modifying the 4.6
Why not? I think the 4.6 is a great motor. I was trying to get a 2010 but none of the dealerships would deal on price to a respectable price. I don't have the skill to drive a 5.0 properly. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it but I don't think if be any less happy driving a 4.6. Your car looks great!

Nice man!
Thanks all! I have tried to keep my car looking unique.

Plan on making it a Show and Go Daily Driver!!! Attachment 203701 |
Great Start! Your lighting does an excellent job of showing the intake runners! Mine was a daily, but I didn't want to run the miles up to quickly...actually had 6,000 miles at 4 months old! Now, 6 months in, she is at 6,500. I bought a Focus for a daily driver. Saves gas too!

Looking good Guys!
This looks great. I like that the light and chrome makes my eye go to certain parts of the engine.
We trying! The 5.0 is such a great engine, it deserves a little attention!
Looks great man, is that ACC?
Looks great, might I suggest a sound tube delete to clean up the engine bay. Other than that it really POPS. See you in Ocala.:nice:
Yes, it is ACC. I have considered removing the sound tube, especially since it can't be heard with the Ford Racing mufflers anyways. Does it look weird to have the plug instead of the tube?
