An interesting point, I've noticed. We've seen more 2010 GT's without a rear spoiler, than we have with one. Has anyone else noticed this? Ford must be especially proud of the integrated Lip Spoiler on the edge of the 2010's trunk.

Personally, I think the 2010 'Stang looks better sans spoiler. That said, though, I'm going to want the rear view camera, so I'm going to have to put up with one.

As you stated future9er24 certain Mustangs look better without a rear spoiler. I for one love how the 2010 looks without it too. If it means having to have a spoiler on it, just to get the back up camera, I'll do without the camera and continue to use my mirrors and turn my head as I have done the last 24 years I have driven. It's not like the Mustang is a Tank. Besides that just makes it that much easier to see the view to the rear as there won't be another 5 or 6 inches sticking up past the trunk.
I like the factory Ducktails on the 69-70's best, which the 2010 kinda gives me that impression, although not as exaggerated. As for add on spoilers, I like the Pedestal Wings used on the 71-73's. I also like the bolt on Ducktail style used on the Mustang II's. Fox body hatches, look better with a spoiler in my opinion, as do the SN-95's and S-197 Mk-1's. I never cared for the 05-09 without a rear spoiler. Of all the spoilers offered on them, I preffer the GT-500's, which to me is the best looking S-197 Mk-1 they made.

i really only like pedestal mount spoilers on the 69-73s and on the 03-04 mach 1s that are looking back at the former.
fox hatches look weird to me without some kind of spoiler. my favorite is the 82 GT
As for IIs, the coupes are ok with a pedestal wing or even a ductail, but the hatchbacks NEED that ductail. IMO its the best executed ductail in all mustang history. it fits the proportions of the car so well.
The termy spoiler is also pretty cool IMO bec of how unobtrusive it is. other than that I'm a spolier delete guy on SN95s of all yearsd (but we all knew that already
on the 05-09 S197s, delete FTW. ductails are acceptable though. If I ever get my hands on a 2010+ though, no spoiler f'sho
