Awesome! It's great to see Ford retake the sales lead.

Do the cars marked in transit, ramp 51 count as deliveries in your figures?

Yeah, I call BS on this. This is "marketing accounting" not REAL accounting. I'm pretty d@mn sure there aren't 10,000 2011 Mustangs roaming the streets.

Couldn't find any info about it. Figures are for both 2010 and 2011.

I wouldn't be completely surprised. 10k cars spread out across the country is still pretty rare. There are supposedly over 100k Camaros on the road, but I hardly ever see one. FWIW, my VIN sequence number is 21644 and was built on 5/19. I know Ford doesn't necessarily build all the VINS in order, but I think they've probably built all the cars before my VIN by now.

Great news for Ford but wait...still no car for me. I know patience is a virtue and yes there are bigger problems in the world but not in mine.

Preorder, what a joke, sorry rant over.

Wonder how the Camaro5 boys are going to spin this turn of events, " Ford Dealers created a secret buy one 2010 stang and get a 2011 stang for free promotion just to re-take the sales lead."

Something like that
And here comes one of them:
I wish the Camaro sales would slow to a crawl, there's enough on the road already...don't want to end up like the dime a dozen Mustangs I see every 10 seconds.

It's called "presence". :-) Mustang has it. Camaro doesn't.

We are everywhere. On your street, along your way to work, in your grocery store parking lot, your computers, your soup...

anyone else notice the total mustangs sold in May 10,225 on the first attachment. is the same number of Mustangs and Challengers sold on the last attachment 10,225? Don't think those numbers are correct by a long shot

That's because (if you look at the first sheet) they don't have the challenger numbers yet.
10225 + 0 = 10225

It is poor labeling though.
