Well got me car back after hood repainted and I’m still not happy. Overall the hood is painted well but the front edge is rough and to unacceptable. Not sure how fussy you guys are but I expect better for $1260.

Yeah,.............that looks crappy. No offense, of course.
Tell them you want it right this time and that's it. End of discussion.
Good luck man.

Thanks. I start wondering if I’m way too picky. Monday I’m bringing it back.

If you're paying for it,...you're not being picky.
That's your car bro. I would be the same way.

For $1260? Hell no, that's not being picky. You paid the shop for quality work and that's exactly what you expect to get. That being said, I'd give them the choice to either repaint your hood and do it the right way at no additional charge or you'll be seeing them in small claims court. End of story!

with my friend Rocky. For that much money one shouldn't expect such shoddy work.

Thanks guys! I'm heading to the shop after work today around 2 pm. I'm sure they'll take care of me...and if they don't I can go squeaky wheel with the best of them.

I'm going to tell them to just paint the whole thing, underside and all, with sterling grey. They're just not good enough or don't care enough about the details to do it in two colors. By the way, I thought I made it clear to paint it all the same sterling color the first time.

Like the saying goes, Jim. "Happy wife, Happy life". Also love the pics as well, as both cars look so great together side by side

Got that right, as there shouldn't be any questions on their part, to begin with. Hopefully, they'll make things right for you this time around

So true Rog. However, I didn't come out of the box that way. She worked really hard, and I learned really quick.

Thanks. When I drop it off Monday I'll reiterate how I expect it back this time and it better not take two weeks. Prime driving time is here and before we know it...I will not say the word, but it starts with a w.

Oh and lots of awesome looking rides in this thread!

Since I've been daily driving my car most of the year, my front bumper is trashed. The pos roads around here have taken their toll on it, scraping in steep driveways and I also hit some debris in the freeway a few months ago that ripped the plastic belly pan almost completely off the car, also taking with it most of the center bolts that hold the Roush lip onto the bumper cover. I have zip ties holding my lip up I'll be filing an insurance claim soon and trying to crunch the numbers with my body shop to see if I can do the GT500 front end instead of another new GT bumper. Also ordering some stereo gear. Not a complete system like I'd want to do because I can't spare the money right now, but just some nice Pioneer drop in 5x7s and 8" replacement subs, along with a ton of Soundskin deadener for the doors. I've gotten tired of the rattling doors and crap mids/highs.

I feel you there. My front bumper/splitter has taken quite a beating lately. Had my second spitter trashed by some road debris not too long ago. Thankfully I had the lower part of my RTR splitter off, as I recently discovered noone is selling it anymore.
