Well said John! That would be like saying I'd never own a Vette or a BMW or a xxxx (enter brand name here) because people say they're old, snooty, or xxx respectively.

I'm thinking of other things to say to echo your last sentence, but I couldn't agree more. Well stated.

I'm not sad.

Hope the car sells quickly though, and for what he wants for it

Good luck going forward bro!!

Great looking Mustang. Should sell quickly. I don't understand the stigma part of it though. I usually get complements on my car when I take it out.

The only stigma I can think of is the "you crash into any crowds of people lately?"

What do you call it a "fake snake"? Because it doesn't have the SVT or Track package?

Well it has the SVT PP with base wheels, and the engine oil cooler from the track package (still need to install the diff cooler)...

But then it's only a 2010 GT with a 5.8 and 645rwhp/622rwtq

lol thats basically what I'm talking about. But that's just small reason. The real reason is that the car has kind of lost its entertainment value for me and I think it's time to consolidate from Mustang GT that gets hardly driven + 2006 beater Elantra to one car that is practical, comfortable for my new longer commute, and still fun to drive. I've been looking at used Cadillac ATS (they can be had in the high teens to low 20's), but also several others. I test drove a 2016 Focus ST today, it was actually quite fun to drive! Pretty roomy too. My only complaint was its kind of noisey on the road and you can really hear the engine while driving (I'm pretty sure Ford did that on purpose though). I've also looked at newer Mazda 6's as they are pretty refined and quite and still a little fun to drive. SO yeah, my options are all over the place lol. But it is definitely time to move on from the Mustang. It will be sad, I have great memories of the car

I've posted it for $24k OBO. 13k miles. I'm not very firm on the 24 because the car needs new tires very soon. I figure it's best to sell it as is and be open to negotiate, instead of putting the cheapest tires on there just to sell it. Do you guys think I'm asking too much? I have only had 2 people contact me so far in a week (but its only on Craigslist at this point, it will be going on autotrader this week for greater audience). One offered $20k (which is laughable because Carvana.com will PICK IT UP for almost $21k).

Good luck with the sale. She's a beauty for sure. Shouldn't take long to sell. Mine sold in less than a week.

what's next?
