JUST INSTALLED ROUSH REAR SIDE SPLITTERS

Ordered Roush Side Splitters from American Muscle Saturday knowing it was going to Snow AGAIN. Came to the door last night (fast delivery as usual) and installed just a few minutes ago to go with my Roush Side Splitters. :)

love those splitters...

Looks great! Really completes the look of the side splitters.

Splitters are on my list of mods to be done in the next couple of months.

It looks as though you have the factory front splitter on? I've been thinking about upgrading to the Roush front splitter, what are your thoughts on how the factory splitter fits with the Roush side and rears?

Looks great! I'm glad to hear your parts showed up so quickly. Keep up the great work with your build!

What's up next?

It looks good, just not sure I want Front Splitter due to me living in a State where you have to have a Front Tag. I enjoy my Motorized Front License Plate Frame. I do not display plate unless I have to, If you know what I mean. If not for that I would probably get the Roush Front Splitter.

^ i had the same decision issue before i went to roush front splitters.. you can custom fit those motorized plates... get with one of those local fab shops.. thats how i ended up getting my hideaway plates with roush splitter.

Thanks Dan, I think I have spent and reached the $5000.00 mark in parts with you guys and thanks to Tony Carson, what a great Rep. I have always received my parts from American Muscle the day after they ship unless it's a weekend. http://mustangforums.com/forum/image.../icon_woot.gif Well the exterior is just about done, maybe the Roush Rear Valance and Square Tips, now it's detailing the engine with more chrome and either the Bose 302 intake or the Roush Supercharger. Depends if I want to sink about another $7000 for a Supercharger or not. http://mustangforums.com/forum/image...on_playing.gif

I will. I am a bit concerned of the look with my already side stripes. They might have to go, we will see.

:nice: Now when you say full set, are you talking about the side and front splitters too?

Yes, that's correct.

Adding the front splitter will look awesome. Just not sure I want to go through what it takes to add the front splitter after watching installation video below. Roush does not make it easy. I thought all you had to do is remove stock one and bolt Roush one right up to the same holes. The reason I say this is I changed the stock one on my 2012 Grand Sport Corvette and just bolted up the new one using same holes, took less then a half hour and did not even have to put it on a lift.http://mustangforums.com/forum/image...on_playing.gif

I saw that vid, that's why I have my shop doing it for $150 :)

dmhines Mar 6, 2014 07:48 AM

I like the splitters .. I always assumed they would fall off easily .. has anybody had them on for any length of time?

ctodd1 Mar 6, 2014 07:55 AM

I have never read anything that they easily fall off.

Unless you are plowing snow with them :) I did my research, all good for the price.
