how much did you have to pay for your GT
going to order a 2012 GT Premium, 6 speed manual, 3.55 rear (395) and the security package (695.00) with delivery $850 the MSRP is 34985, local dealer say my price will be $32946. Is that about what everyone has been paying. This is without any factory rebate.. any idea on how to do better on a 2012?

Sounds like a great price to me for the options you listed.....
Thats about what I paid for my '11 but I had a couple more options and I used X plan. You could sign up on the Mustang Club webiste and get an Xplan Pin#. Might save you a few bucks but it seems like a good price to me.

That's a pretty good deal, just beware of the dealer fees they will tack on. Most dealerships today have a $600 doc fee. If you use X-plan, Ford limits that doc fee to $75.

You can also try Costco if you are already a member. Many dealers have "internet sales" departments and can be very aggressive on pricing.

I was going to get the security pkg on the 2011 for $300 something but now that it is over $600 forget it...I can add the wheel locks and an alarm later for much less...
Does BJs have a deal? or should I use the 2011 pricing with holdback info.

Ordered today! I have purchased many cars off this dealer and they are ordering it to my specs in Lava Red, with the understanding that when it comes in I have first right to refuse if I don't like the color (which I have never seen and there are no examples close by). 2012 GT Premium, Lava Red. Black interior, 6 speed MT, 3.55 rear, security Pkg, spoiler delete. The wait begins!!

That seems like a decent deal. I paid 32k for my 2011 premium that stickered at 34k and that also included a full 5year warranty. Where I got my deal was on my trade. I bought an 05' explorer from the same dealer two years prior and got $400 less than I paid for a trade. That was about 2-3K more than other dealers wanted to give me for it so I figured that was a heck of a deal.

Brian.. what'd I pay? I forget... less than 40k with everything possible in it. Almost at 10,000 miles... it's been fun! It has Koni's, eibach's and camber plates now. Can't wait for track season!!!! You need to send some more people our way (track). Roland from BMWCCA hooked up with me and we'll be doing some mods at the same time... first comes brakes this next month hopefully when he has time.

MSRP on my 'vert (with comfort, 401A, security, 19" wheels) was about $41,100. With X-plan + my $750 customer cash coupon, I closed at $37,100, plus paid $75 "processing fee" as opposed to the normal policy of $499 at that dealer for the same thing. I thought that was a decent deal, especially in early June 2010, about 4 weeks after the 2011s hit the market. I'd expect prices to be maybe a little better now.
