Any lower than 1.5" is not only unnecessary functionally, but may cause rubbing issues as well. Are you changing anything beyond springs? The stock bump stops should prevent any "crashing" for 1.5", but not beyond that. I had many discussions with several vendors during my most recent wheel/tire purchase.
On top of that, anything lower than 1.5" looks a bit ghetto, imo.

Noo no, no lower than 1.5" would prefer 1" exp with the new wheels, close somewhat of the gap up front. I think the rear is lowered 1.5" and I like it.
I plan in using 1.5" springs and everything else stock. I guess the topic sounds like I want to go lower, but I was just wondering if you would think I should only drop it no more than a inch.

^ lol... yeah when I read your topic, yes, it does sound like you're asking if you can go lower than 1.5 and get away with it
I have Ford K Springs and have 20x8.5 and 20x10s. No rubbing issues. Ford K's lower 1.5 in the rear, but I'm not sure if it's also 1.5 in front... might be. Either way, you're fine. Don't go any lower. But yes, lower the front too. Looks goofy if just rear. It's all about the stance, with function as well.

also when you said "low blow", I thought you were planning a "pun intended" comment. If you did, that was awesome. If not, well then I'm awesome
