Horn works when using key fob but not when pressing on the wheel.
I just bought a 2012 V6 mustang and it has a few issues. When locking the car or pressing the alarm button from the key, the horn works. It does not work when I press on the steering wheel though. Does anyone know the solution to this?
Also, my high beams only work for a split second before the lights shut off completely. I have already checked & replaced the fuse. How do i fix this?

Welcome,
These Later Cars Can Be Very Complex in Operation For Simple Functions. The Best Course of Action is to First See if it Has Any Diagnostic Trouble Codes. You Need A Reader That Pulls Up Body & Light Module Codes Which is a Higher End Unit. Lots of Folks Have The Simple Ones Which Read Engine Only Codes. Some Chain Store Parts Houses Will Read Your Codes But You Need To Be Sure Their Reader is a High End Unit . A Body Code Would Be Like For Example B2AF Vs The Engine Codes Which Are Usually P0001 or P Codes. If You Can get it Scanned and Get The Numbers Here is the Diagnostic Process From The Ford Shop Manual Which Relates to The Codes.
The Horn If You Dig Into It May Require Airbag Removal. I Pulled All What I Thought Was Relevant at The Time Below in PDf Form.
And After Realizing How Much of This Could Be Caused By Water Intrusion in The Sjb A Check of The Cowl Area & Changing Cabin Filter While You Are At Would Be a Good Idea. A Member This Morning on Another Post Bert Had Suggested To Smell The Passenger Carpet Area & If it Smells Musty Than Some Water Issues Could Be At Play. It's a Quick Way To Check if Water Had Puddled in the Past . See Some Related Info Here!
