HID Light Question

I Have A Question Regarding The HID Lights On The 2010 Mustang. Does Anyone Know, Or Has Anyone Read, Or Heard Whether Ford Has Added The Halo/Angel Eye Look To The 2010 Mustang's HID Lighting? That Is One Thing I Absolutely Love. Knowing That Chevy Is Offering Them On The Camaro, and They Seem To Be A Hot New Trend I'm Hoping They Have, Including The Fog's On The GT. I Think That Would Look Killer!

Cool

I'm with you on that, I think it's a fantastic look - I love halos. Oh well, if Ford don't offer it, I'm sure the aftermarket will take car of it, just as they have for the '05+

That's My Point, They Are Available From The Aftermarket For The Current Mustangs, I'm Just Hoping Ford Would Include Them From The Factory for the 2010.

That would be pretty cool. I'll let you know as I find things out when I'm at the reveal. I'll have my laptop and an internet connection at the hotel and will post a journal of the events as each day passes.

OK, I know this is only a rendering/'toon, but I love the lights on this. The projectors in the middle are cool!

I agree, but I have no idea if Ford will offer them

Would be awesome, but I doubt they'll be any different from the HIDs available on the current Stang. I say that only because the projector halogens on the 2010 look identical to those on the 05-09 Stang.

We haven't even seen any spy shots with the HIDs. Not even on the GT500, which is pretty surprising.

OK, can't see any halos from here, but this is probably one of the best shots yet of the new headlights. They appear to have a "clear lense" if that makes sense? Nice, much more modern than the current setup.

Icehawk,

Is ford going to contact you to let you choose your options or will they just load everything up on it. I ask that because eprize said you had to pick up the tab for any extra options.

Kind of off topic but I'll answer it anyway. I'm not certain when Ford is going to tell me what all options they will be including. I'm certain however that it won't be anytime soon as the unveil hasn't happened yet and they wouldn't want to give anything away too soon. More than likely it won't be til next year when they start production. I'm going to get it as option loaded as I can since the majority of it will be free. Navigation is a big one, as well as the entire MyColor and Ambient Lighting package. I would say heated seats for the snows of Kentucky but I don't plan on driving it in that crap. Anymore question please post in the sticky of my winning thread. Thanks again.

If Ford is giving you your choice of options at no cost, then I would load her up with as much stuff as you can - it will help your resale value down the road (assuming you ever sell her, of course. )

I need to correct myself, or clearify at least. By "since the majority of it will be free" I meant that the car and what ever options they GIVE me will be free. Whatever else I want I have to pay for myself. I don't see that being a problem for some reason! My plan at the moment (without owning it yet) is to keep it as an alternate daily driver, using mostly my truck except on fun road trips and such, or when ever I get the craving for AWESOMENESS!!! But, I DO plan on buying another Mustang if/when the Mach or Boss comes out. If not, then this will do just nicely til the 50th anniversary, all though the 5.0L sounds awefully tempting. Once I get the Boss or Mach, the truck will go, maybe depending on insurance, and the '10 will be my daily while the Boss/Mach is reserved for my AWESOMENESS moments!

What ya think?!

Sounds like a plan. Don't rule out going Source Horse on the '10 and making it into your own custom edition.

Actually, that sounds pretty cool. I'm sure once I pick it up the mod bug will get me.
