I will once I am sure the roads are all dry around here...I want to go to the same place I went last time to take some shots with my good camera and not my phone camera...

I have watched some of those video's of Mustang crashes and I can see how easy it could be to do that...with the V6, while it was quick, you always felt in control of it, you had to work it hard to get the quickest times with it...this thing is like a beast that you just hang on to and hope to keep it under control...can only imagine what the Shelby is like. Can't imagine even trying to drive this in bad weather.....glad I don;t have to....

My GT feels about as fast as the GT500 only difference was the GT is grabbing and going and the GT500 was spinning whole time and still went just as fast lol

I'm glad I have not had to drive my Mustang this winter. Just have taken it out a couple times on the nicest sunny (cold...) days since November. Absolutely no traction at all. It's a little hairy feeling the rear end trying to step out under WOT in 3rd and sometimes 4th gear getting on the highway! Looking forward to warm temps and tires being sticky again!!

But back to the original post - the GT500 mufflers sound great!

I also just went to GT500's from Roush and like it a lot. Do you still have your resonators? I'm still debating on whether or not to keep mine.

Give it a couple of WOT pulls when the weather is warmer and you will get used to it

Roush was a lot louder and I was starting to get some minor drone at around 2,000 rpms. I love the sound of the Roush and driving it to work in the morning was great, but after a long day at work, the ride home was not as fun and I just wanted some quiet. The Roush was also very loud on a cold startup and it was not making my fiancée happy when I would start it up at 5:15am when I left for work.

The GT500 is pretty quiet but you can still hear it. It has a great tone that is not intrusive to me. I could probably stand to have a little more volume from this exhaust and may delete my resonators at some point but right now I'm satisfied with how it is and everyone claims it will get a little louder as time goes on.

My feelings exactly, the tone and rumble is perfect, especially on start up. I did not do the delete yet as I want to see how these sound over time. Much louder than stock, but not as loud as other aftermarkets....But I know I was smiling when I pulled out of the shop and went through the gears the first time....as everyone else states, this is how it should come from the factory. I still don't understand why Ford does not make either these standard or an option and also add the hood struts as standard. Hell if we can get them for under $90, that means they could get them much cheaper buying in bulk.

I think there's nearly a consensus that the GT500 mufflers should have been the stock GT mufflers. The tone is nearly perfect, volume level is satisfying and noticable but not obnoxious.

This is a great first mod, IMO. I love the quad tips on the '13+ version too.

Wait until what...you finally back the car out of your garage and put "a mile" on it?

You know I could not hold back....
