so i had a local dealer order me this

AR3Z-16A550-AA
AR3Z-16A550-AB


so i get a call and say uh...they are here...all three of them

so i got the left one...and a set of molded ones with the pony on them and the part number on the package is AR3Z-16A550-AA...when it should be AC...on the molded ones

i took this picture in to show them (i got from here)

and he said his supplier insists that their part numbers are right...with the AA being the molded pair

so now i am at a standstill because the supplier doesnt know what the hell i am talking about and cant find a right one

I just checked the spreadsheet that I kept for reference and the part #s are correct. My suggestion is to go on fordparts.com and order it, then pick it up at the dealer or have it shipped to your door.

I'm confused. Are those not the correct GT500 splash shields? They look correct. It looks like a left and right. What am I missing?

The exact same thing happened to me here in Ontario Canada. Dealer told me that a bunch of the AC's were marked with AA part #'s. Dealer had the correct one within two days. He did say that some type of corrective action was being taken as a result. Someone with "eyes" had to sort the Toronto warehouse to correct the labels and find the correct AA (right) to match the AB (left). This happened about two months ago for me. Problem might have been sufficiently corrected! Ya think?

I got mine yesterday and installed it on my 2011 V6. Like already mentioned, they fit perfectly and they are not hard to install, if you got the right tools. Since I currently don't have a car jack and remove the tires I had to buy an offset screw driver. You can also use a small socket wrench with a phillips screw driver adapter.

I had the same issue today at my dealer here in VA. Got the molded ones for the AA part. Waiting for the AB part to come in so I can show the parts person what the deal is with these. Frustrating....

Time for a wash, but these guards are great, low key but effective
newpony is correct about the installation, a small socket with a phillips bit will make quick work of the job.

Those will fit the V6 and the GT rear, but not the GT500.

At high speeds nothing will, actually as the air passes by it seems to create a vacuum and pull some dirt back toward the wheel

If there is dirt on the inside of the flap, then they are working. Can't expect them to get everything and still look good.

Will the gt500 guards work on a 2011 v6 with the original rear valence? Thought I read some place that the gt500 guards only work with the gt500 rear valance.
