That's Fast. Is your Dealer Big or Small?
I placed my order 04Feb2010 and I finally went to another dealer and ordered again yesterday. But mine is a Shelby. I hope I get a VIN quickly like you.

Small. Like really small.
The V6 I had on order for over a month and I got nothing, but it was retail allocation. The V8 I went to a smaller deal closer and did retail order verification.

My salesman said it's a good thing I talked the manager into doing retail order verification, because retail allocation could take my car 3-4 months to arrive. Didn't think I'd get a VIN/build date in TWO DAYS!

Great....enjoy. I have a VIN for the past 2 weeks and a build date the week of 5/17 and an ETA of 5/22. No window sticker yet! Now I know that ETA just can't happen unless the plant manager personally drives it to Pa. As long as it comes by July 7th so my rebate coupon doesn't expire.

That's also the same dealership service department that tried to tell me a quart of oil every 900 miles was "normal." (Eventually they conceded and fixed the KNOWN problem under warranty.)
I did just find a Kona Blue V6 with Stone interior at Battlefield of Culpeper though... might go down and take a look at it this weekend.

That dealership must be REALLY small, cause Tysons Corner is pretty **** small. Especially compared to Koons Chevy in Tysons. Place is frigging humongous. Like 50 vettes lying around.

I've bought 2 cars from Battlefiield in Manassas. Both off the lot. They seemed like a nice "down home" dealership back when I bought. My general experience with them now is that they've gone WAY downhill over the last 5 years or so. I stopped considering them after my last visit and I couldn't even find a sales person to deal with. Their inventory always seems "cookie cutter" mostly appealing to the masses and a very limited selection.

I actually decided on this dealership because of the "down home" feel of the place; the inside reminds me of a 70's highschool gym. The sales people have been fine, it just seems like they don't do too many customer orders since I'm still the only one to order a 2011 GT from them. I just hope they don't jerk me around later
