First car show in 'new' 2014 GT and it rained
I was looking forward to this local show to show my fellow car friends my 'new' ride. The event was well attended (about 100 cars) but it rained. My beautifully detailed car was a mess when I brought it home. What else is new?? Here are some photos of it and other Mustangs and Fords. Even a Ferrari showed up (can't say it has never seen rain).

At least when it rains while at the car show, you just wipe it down before heading home... It's when your driving in the rain you end up with dirt getting splashed by the other drivers in front of you... Meanwhile, thanks for sharing images of the car show.. Looks like it was a great turnout, despite the rainy weather conditions

Unfortunately the roads were a disaster on the way home. No drying out until yesterday. It's OK, all back to 'normal' again even though my left arm is killing me. Geez, getting old just stinks!! Always something. Knee prevents shifting and now my arm won't let me clean again for awhile. It's funny, I'm a right handed person but didn't realize how much I use my left arm when working on the car.
Yes! Thanks for posting the pictures! Very nice! Looks like a nice turnout despite the rain.
I feel you on the aches and pains, all those movements we don't typically do on a daily basis. I guess it's one of those use it or loose it exercises... Bet she looks fantastic again!

Trust me at 64 yrs old, I know exactly how it feels when it comes to those aches and pains from frequent car washing/drying/waxing... Your muscles/joints feel as through they have weights attached to them while being pulled at.. Then when attempting to raise your arms upward towards the upper sections of the car panels, the muscles struggle dealing with the strain from the resistance lol. It often takes up to 4-6 hours before completely washing and fully detailing my car, as I have to take many breaks in between.. Therefore, your far from being alone when it comes to working on your car
