Factory strut tower brace and Caster Camber Plates?
 

Please excuse if it's a dumb question. Can you keep the bar and use Caster Camber Plates? Getting closer to tax refund and thus getting closer to being able to lower the car and tighten things up a bit. I will be going with the following (I think):

- Koni Orange STR.T shocks and struts
- Steeda UltraLite springs
- Steeda Heavy Duty Upper Strut Mounts or Maximum Motorsports Mustang Caster Camber Plates
- Alignment


Later:
- BMR or UMI or Steeda LCA's & Panhard bar
- Upgrade front and rear Sway bars

My mustang is a daily driver so i'm hoping to avoid NVH as much as possible. Just want her to sit better and handle like she's on rails. I'm open to any suggestions from anyone who has gone down this route. Thanks!

do the 2010's need the hd upper strut mounts and camber plates? Should be able to use some camber bolts instead of the plates and reuse the strut mounts that came with the car? Just thinking save a few bucks and not really be able to tell the difference.

I've read that the factory uppers are plastic and can break? And can make a popping sound on lowered vehicles. Not sure what to believe....that's why i'm digging. This is from the Steeda site:

I BELIEVE THAT ISSUE WAS FIXED BY A REVISED FACTORY PART AS PART OF A CICA 2006 TSB.

Almost 70 views and not too much action. Let me ask another question....do you think I will have any problems aligning with such a mild drop without buying expensive upper plates/mounts?

I am sure alls you will need is the camber bolts. I agree with Karrnut also.

Camber plates will increase NVH. Ask me how I know...

On my 06 the FRPP STB can still be used in conjunction w/ the plates.
