Take a look at the following rear seat cup holder for the 2010-14 models. Seems pretty good.

These work out fantastic. Not cheap but super quality. I would never let kids drink in the car.

They look awesome but they don't show an application for the Mustang.

Have you tried them? Which model?

Yes I have two for the front. I can't remember the part number but they should be able to tell you which ones based on your measured console height.
