Would on of those waxing electric spinners be a good idea to get? Also what is the best wax?
And lastly is there a special prouduct to make sure that it doesnt get that dirt and dust under the hood?
Thanks for your tips

Waxing electric spinners - that's the first time I have seen a buffer referred to as that.
Here's what you need:
1. Clay bar + lube
2. Synthetic or Carnauba Wax
3. Water based plastic/rubber protectant
4. Good microfiber towels
The choices are endless, but I will also include the exact products I use.
PRODUCTS
Wash: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine
Polish / Sealant: Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
Quick Detailer: Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant
Tires: Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel
Leather Cleaning: Damp Microfiber Towel
Plastic/Rubber/Vinyl/Leather Protectant: 303 Aerospace Protectant
Leather Conditioner: Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
Clear Plastic (Headlights/Fogs/Tail Lights/Side Markers): Plexus Plastic Cleaner/Protectant/Polish
Windows: Stoner Invisible Glass
Bug/Tar: Stoner XENIT
TOWELS / APPLICATORS
Wash / QD: Cobra Super Plush Deluxe 600 Towel
Drying: Cobra Guzzler HD Waffle Weave Towel
Applying Wax / Polish: Pinnacle Foam Wax Applicator
Removing Wax / Polish: Cobra Indigo Microfiber Polishing Cloth

Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to detailing products. If you do enough reading, next thing you know you'll be investing hundreds or even thousands in products.
This is what i'm currently using:
Wash: Optimum No Rinse. Yea it seems to good to be true. But if you keep your car clean, wash it often, and don't take it through mud puddles this way of washing your car won't mess up your paint. And the slickness left behind is unreal.
Wash Mitt: Lambswool.
Drying Towels: Microweave Microfiber drying towels. I only let microfiber or lambswool touch my car's paint.
Wax: Duragloss Aquawax. I apply this after every wash since it is a spray on - wipe off solution.
Polisher: Porter Cable 7424xp
Pads: Lake Country
Polish: Optimum products. YOu can find a package online that will have the PC 7424xp, polish, and pads to get you started.
Make sure you figure out how much time and $$$ you are willing to invest in detailing your car. For me I don't mind spending a few bucks and hours because I love a really clean car. But you can keep a car looking showroom clean w/o investing in a polisher and expensive waxes/polishes. Just clean it often, with the right soaps, the right process, and keep it protected against the elements. One of those elements being other car doors. Park far out
Hope this helps.

Some crazy people keep telling me not to wax it until the paint has cured for six months. It sounds like crazy talk from the 70s to me and I don't recall ever reading that in the manual, but I thought I'd ask here.
