Car throwing p2112 code

Started my car up yesterday. It was fine then after about 10 seconds the check engine light came on and it started running like crap, like it was about to die. The only code its throwing is the P2112: throttle control actuator system-stuck closed.

I unplugged the sensor, cleaned the tb, put it back together and everything was fine. Then it did it again this morning. Anyone have any idea whats going on? Is there a way to tell if its just the sensor or if I have a bigger issue?

The throttle body is getting stuck closed. Whether that'd be the motor or a physical binding, I don't much know, but the probable fix is to acquire a new one or a junkyard one for testing at least.

Now, you might do the throttle pedal reset thing, which is to turn the car on, but do not start, push throttle slowly to the firewall within 5 seconds, then release. Start car. Might fix. Might not.

Ouch. Them 5.0L TBs are 'spensive! http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-MUSTANG-GT-5-0L-THROTTLE-BODY-2011-2012-2013-2014-OEM-NICE-/191336572991?_trksid=p2054897.l4275, so there's that...

Thanks for the advice. I would have loved to go the ebay route and saved about $200, but this is my dd so I needed one asap. Went and picked one up from the dealership down the street while I had access to another vehicle. Fixed the problem, so I guess I can't complain.

Really? I guess I should have checked that. I wouldn't think something like a sensor or the TB would be covered under the powertrain. It's a 2011
