I just sent them an email correcting what all was wrong with the car and price and this is what I got sent back.
With an attitude like that I hope they get hung with it and have to give it away. And you wonder why people hate dealerships that dont have a clue.
Thank you for contacting us. Please get a life.

Side note, that Race Red looks really handsome with the GT500 wheels and black hood stripes. Anyone know what spoiler that is? It looks like the backup cam spoiler, but with no backup cam. It also looks like the previous gen GT500 spoiler, or maybe 3D Carbon?

Its beyond me why any dealership would take in a hack job like that. Unless they got it dirt cheap or didnt know. I guess Im some what of a purist but when I see stuff like that it de values the car big time to me. They may have gotten screwed on it and now have developed an attitude. But hey, they are the professionals right?

You could always send that to Jalopnik and watch the hilarity ensue.

Well, technically the only thing they had wrong on the listing was that it was brembo equipped.
The response from their internet manager was probably just because they had a "few" too many e-mails all at about the same time calling them on the mistake and maybe the pricing. The guy there probably realizes that they screwed up when they took the car in, allowed too much fot it maybe.
It's not a Ford dealer, they don't have the knowledge.

They don't need to be a Ford dealer to use Google or do a quick search. It's not like Mitsu's are flying off the showroom floor either.
The sales manager is still a professional, and should act as such. If he wants to make himself, and his employer look like fools, keep it up.

Look at the picture of the front seat. HACK JOB. plastic is about 1 inch out. Car looks nice but if your gonna pay that price for it, have it look new inside and out.

LOL, that struck me as hilarious. I actually think whoever answered it is NOT clueless. It's always difficult to derive someone's true intentions from a written e-mail; did they mean to be condescending or funny? Maybe they should've put a smiley face after their statement...

I wonder if the owner of the dealership would approve of this sort of conduct?

It cracked me up when I opened it. I think the guy was bitter. I wasnt trying to be a smart *** but informed him the the typical Mustang buyer would pick up quickly on the hack job they were trying to sell. I didnt say it that way of course but just informed them that Mustang buyers were very well informed. They are either pissed off because they got had or because they got caught trying to sell a hack job Mustang for more than a new price.
