I just got my a 2010 GT convertible that seems to have the 302 bumper and a aftermarket grill. I was going to get the bars and running horse.

Do you all think it should be in the center of the grill or off to the drivers side like the older Mustangs?

I think the majority of people put it on the drivers side (that's where mine is).
But you should put it where you like it.
Look at some pictures on the web and see which you prefer.

My personal preference is to leave it off and add dark headlamp tint film instead.....makes a black car look even more sinister.

I'd either leave it off, or driver's side. I really like the no-emblem look, though. (This opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.)

Definitely prefer the sleek black look of a naked grille. But if you're set on the tribar emblem, my opinion is to favor one side or the other - the centered pics on AM look odd.

I love the grill on my Roush, clean, simple, and looks sinister. I like the more subtle small emblem off to the drivers side. Granted it's still pretty visible but not nearly as obvious as the chrome pony.

You may also consider blacking out the emblem. That would be a bit different, not noticeable until you got close and much more subtle.

You know I think the car looks really attractive/mean without the grille right now. If you're dead set on throwing one on I think offset would look pretty cool. Just my .02!

Drop me a line if you need anything at all and happy modding.

Is there a more subtle badge I could get?

Say what you want about different Vendors. But I appreciate a Vendor who gives their honest opinion rather than pushing their product. Props to Alex...
