I will add this.. I get better mileage out of my V6 if I do not use cruise... Try that out and you may be surprised as well..

^ i think the reason is the system brakes when you are going down hill to maintain the set speed, so loss momentum and need gas aftr that.. is this enough to upset the mileage when using cruise. i doubt

Probably not... but I drive ~160 miles daily (highway) and see about 2-3 mpg difference... Granted the road is not completely flat

I'm in the same boat. I'm about 60/40 highway and I've been at 21.1. I typically drive around 75 and shift around 2200-2500 rpm. I have to blast the AC since I'm in AZ and its still 112 outside. I'm around 25k

I have run it at 72mph with cruise and no AC for hundreds of miles and got 25mpg. I tried long runs of 45, 55, 65mph, never got over 25mpg. Normal highway speeds of 75-80 with AC on drops it to about 22mpg...
I ran it 100% city and got 24mpg for the tank, but when I mix in the highway driving it drops!! What happened to 31 mpg highway? Has anyone seen that??

If I really want to, and my right foot doesn't want to, I can get 34-36 MPG
on a flat road holding a steady 60 mph.......31-33 MPG at 75 mph.
Tires inflated to 36 psig, windows up, no A/C and car waxed.
A vert, especially with top down or windows down, under inflated tires, etc, will cause drag and pull down the MPG's. If you can find a gas station selling pure gasoline without the fermented corn juice in it.....that alone will give a few extra MPG's!

Hi guys,

Driving habits and conditions can definitely cause your MPGs to change. Also, remember to reset the computer after each fill up. If you feel it is not improving or it worsens, contact your Ford dealer for diagnosis. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number so I can escalate it to the customer service manager for your area.

milage

on the milage one i dont reset it says 20 mpg.
I reset the other and i was getting 29 and 30 if 6th at 60 mph going steady. But I was surprised how getting on it or just stopping and starting affected it so much. Even standing still it went down.
And i got on it for like 3 seconds from 1st to 3rd and it dropped to 20 mpg right then which surprised me. v6 stick perf pkg 3.31 rear end
