****!

The damage is a bit worse then the pictures show...made today just freakin' lovely. Bumper is pushed in real good. I do not look forward to hearing from whomever repairs it when they take everything off and do a proper assessment.

I wish I had, the damage would be significantly less.

Rear ended a Jeep on a highway onramp. For whatever reason traffic came to a dead stop right before we were to merge onto the highway, and I didn't quite stop in time. Road was a little wet, which didn't help. The rear mounted spare pushed the bumper in then put some serious dents in the hood.

If I get a new hood it'll be a Cervini Stalker. Not sure hood will need to be replaced, the dealer body shop (which is pretty decent) didn't seem to think so.

Still waiting to meet up with my "guy". He's on vacation this weekend and I'm in Ohio all week for work (which is where this happened...on my way home for the weekend...god **** Ohio). I'll see what he can do and if a new hood is in order or not.

Oh man, sorry to hear about your mishap. Sucks.

On the plus side, this gives me an excuse to roll in my mom's convertible Camaro for a few days while they're out of town...

Easy now. It's not Ohio's fault that you rear ended a Jeep, could of happened in any state on any on ramp.

And you being from MI and all butt hurt by Ohio State spanking the Wolverines is the reason you don't like Ohio right.

I don't like Ohio because the entire road system is construction. It's worse then michigan. And your cops are ********.

Plus Ohio is one of few states that allow cops to write tickets based on "visual observation" of speed as opposed to having proof like laser or radar reading. That's

What are the best 2 things to come out of Ohio?

Andy why are there so many Astronauts who were born in Ohio? They hate that place so much they want to leave the planet!

Ok, that's all the Ohio jokes I can think of right now.

Well, since you brought it up, Michigan is still beating Olie-O state 58 to 46, so who's winning? Yeah, though so. Buckeyes can SUCK IT.

But I completely understand your sentiment. Over the last few years one football team has been all Ohio has going for it, so I get the die hard support.

It just sucks that I have to drive it like this for another week or two. Thankfully it doesn't look too bad from a distance. Hopefully I don't need to open the hood during that time...I ain't getting it open by myself, and I'm not entirely sure it'll close again if I do.

Sorry about your accident. My front bumper skin had to be replaced on my car when it was only 4 months old. A large chunk of truck tire tread flew out from under a van and I nailed it. I had plenty of distance between me and the van but could not swerve around the debris due to traffic on either side of me. New skin and lower grill and all was new again. Fortunately for me, it just scratched up the bumper and grill and did not do any damage to metal.

I hope yours is fixed soon.

I'll agree with that. I got a $135.00 ticket by a lovely female State Trooper for no front license plate on my Mustang.
