5.0 with bolt-on Supercharger vs. Hellcat???
How would you fare with a supercharged but otherwise stock 5.0 Coyote against a Hellcat?
What would it take to keep up?
Thoughs, opinions, bench racing of any variety is very welcome.

I've been wanting to race one to find out. Like to do one fron a dig and a roll race and see what the outcome would be with a stock hellcat. I think the stang would have a good chance and it would boil down to a drivers race.
A supercharged stang has about 50-60 ponies less, but the hellcat weighs in 400 lbs heavier plus skinny 275s out back.
Found a video of a Paxton stang vs hellcat

Not definitive as you can do it all over with those exact cars and three different drivers and get a different result.
However, the blown coyote was not good for the Hellcat or Z/28 owners egos that day.

The Z/28 owner can take solace knowing he would utterly destroy either car on any type of road course. Know that's not important to many of you but, for me, that's what makes the Z awesome. And I'm glad it exists because it pushed Ford to make the GT-350 as badass as it is!

My gt 5 speed with a factory gt500 supercharger long tube headers with a H pipe got the headlights sucked out of it by a 2015+ charger hellcat with I have no idea what all done to it . from a dig and from a 20 roll .

I see this stuff on a regular basis at the largest car cruises in my state after hours. My buddy has a 5.0 with 10-speed (2018 model) and it's got a mail order turbo kit on it and not much else. The engine is mostly stock except for billet oil pump gear I think. I have personally watched him take down Hellcats, stock Lambos, street bikes, and just about anything else that dares to tempt him. It's completely nuts how fast a forced induction A10 5.0 is and those cars hook like a cat on carpet. I've told friends about some of the kills he's got with that car and they never believe me until I show them video.
If we're talking Gen 1 Coyote with a supercharger kit, those are also quite potent and I haven't seen a stock Hellcat take one down yet. To be fair I'm a HUGE Mopar guy and would love a Hellcat myself, so I'm not ragging on them. But they are heavy, spin easily due to the instant launch torque, and just don't make the best street racing cars. If I had a 5.0 with any forced induction setup and good tires I wouldn't worry about a Hellkitten.
