4.6 16v swap to 4.6 32v
 

One of my family members is selling me a 2010 GT for an affordable price. From what I know the 16v of the 2010 can't handle 600+hp as a DD (with stock internals). Would anyone give me their opinion about swapping an 03/04 cobra 4.6 32v into a 2010 GT?

2010 GT had 24 valves (3 per cylinder) in the 4.6. The Cobra 32V would be a cool swap I think. Of course you could also do a 5.0 32V swap, but I bet the Cobra engine can be found cheaper.

Cobra engine would be cheaper, but you'd have to do a lot of fabrication work with exhaust piping I imagine. It would be a pretty cool swap though. I think I'd go with the Coyote though for parts and aftermarket support if nothing else.
