2013 mustang v6 for sale

I'm selling it due my parents. For $22,000. It only has 18,400 miles on it and all the parts are pretty much brand new, I've done
- Airaid Cold air intake

He lives near Monterey and most likely has driven on the track. It doesn't bother me. No like he put Boss stripes on....

It is a legitimate question. The Boss 302 Laguna seca is the only mustang that has that emblem and designation, and it is a very rare and special mustang at that. Just wondering which you would put such an emblem on a regular v6. Its not something i personally feel is necessary.

Yeah...if you are buying and modding a car but your parents still have that kind of financial input/control of your life, perhaps spend all that mod money on being independent instead? Sorry, couldn't resist a little backseat life advice.

It's no ricer, and it's not like I put the boss 302 stripes and everything, any car enthusiast knows it's not a 302 but I put it on there for the look, not your typical v6, I've beat a lot of cars you wouldn't see even compared to stock, I got the logo because it goes well with the caliper covers and like I said it's not your typical v6

Even if someone cares if unknown 3rd parties are mislead about what a car is, this doesn't apply. I mean, for example, lots of people have HEARD the term Boss 302 so might be fooled by something on a car that says that. But a LS emblem on the trunk? Nobody but a Mustang "expert" has any idea what that badge means and those people would never be fooled in a million years.

I'd worry less about the badges, and more about the fact that he's trying to sell a substantially modded car that's less than 2 years old w/ nearly 20k miles for well above blue book.

Hard reality is that all those "brand new" mods/parts you put on there add exactly $0 to the car's value, and may even hurt it. You'd do better to return it to stock, and sell the parts and car separately. Either way, you're going to take a bath selling a 2013 model w/ 20k miles on it.

^^ That's how it is around here too. You'll usually get more money for a stock car, especially if you have to sell to a dealer (official or otherwise), assuming they'd even consider buying it. (Warranty) I think that many of his mod parts are desirable, and an "informed" buyer who isn't a reseller would probably not ding him for them, but neither would they pay much premium (warranty).

It's a bitter pill, but rarely do new car mods not performed by a "name" outfit help a car's value. I wonder if the parents are concerned with not only the amount of additional $$ (+ time/effort) sunk into the car, but with the additional decrease in its asset value and marketability? Older/more experienced car owners know this stuff from finding out the hard way when they were young... :)

You're totally right, unless he can find someone that sees the values in those upgrades. that would be the only time that someone would give him what he's looking for. otherwise, it would be smart to rip out as much as you can and put it back to factory and sell parts individually.
