2013 Jack Picture Needed

I want to buy a couple of factory scissor jacks for my 2013 GT500. I was hoping that someone with a 2013 Mustang GT or V6 could post a picture of the jack that came with their car. If the 2010-2012's use the same jack, that would work for me. The local auto dismantler has a bunch of scissor jacks, I just need to know what I am looking for.
Thanks.

2013 V6...no spare and no jack

Just bought one for the daughter and it comes with the tire inflator kit. It's freakin bogus if you ask me. So the only cars that come with a jack and spare are non Brembo 2013 GTs.

I don't understand the rational in not supplying a spare in a V6 Mustang. Why even have a spare tire well if they are not going to supply a spare?

Mine did not. I was worried they forgot it so I asked. They said " mustang is a sports car and a spare and a jack are weight"

I can think of two reasons. (1) Even though no spare is the direction virtually all cars are headed (my 2013 Cadillac doesn't have a spare tire well), the well lets owners who haven't adjusted to that concept add their own spare; mustang owners are probably more bothered by no spare than most car buyers. (2) The S197 was designed a decade ago with a spare well and its not worth the cost/effort to remove it for the last few years even if they didn't care about reason #1.

The 2013 base mustang that I was considering purchasing had one. I know, because I was originally planning to purchase a Camaro, which offers the spare as an extra cost option. So, when I started looking at the Mustangs, I physically looked to see that it had a spare. Also, my 2014 v6 premium has it as well. I wonder if those who do not have a spare have the performance package, or something that comes with larger than the 17" tires, ie pony, or MCA. My '13 brochure shows a compact spare for the 100A, and 300A cars. No real mention on the others except for the Boss which shows the tire mobility kit.

Gabe,
Thanks for the link and picture.

As far as the spare wheel well is concerned, I would have like to see Ford remove it and replace it with at least a 25 gallon gas tank. A 16 gallon gas tank is ridiculous considering the amount of gas this car (GT500) is capable of consuming.

I imagine Ford is a little reluctant to place a fuel tank behind the rear axle after the problems with the Pinto.

Have you test-fit that ^^^ wheel/tire on your car?
Cuz the offset seems like would push the wheel/tire inward quite a bit, maybe make contact?

if it fits, and clears Brembos, I'm HIGHLY interested in that combo though ...

Any chance you have a part # for that wheel?
It's usually stamped on the back side of the wheel?

Also, what size tire is that on there?

Thanks man ...

it's 185/55-18, the rim is 18x4.5 w/ a 40mm offset
the stamped p/n is BR33-1007-AB but then again that might not mean anything

That's an engineering part number, I know.
The actual part number for an '11 Mustang would start with a BR3Z, the middle (the "basic") stays the same at 1007, and the ending part usually changes a bit.

I'll figure it out.

Thanks.

EDit: That translates to a part number of BR3Z-1007-C

But danm ... almost $400 shipped for just the wheel ...

My 2013 V6 premium - MCA package - came with a spare tire and jack. And the jack looks just like the one that came with my 2006.

But when you say
I want to buy a couple of factory scissor jacks for my 2013 GT500
How are you planning to use a couple of these? I wouldn't trust it to hold the car up and do any work on it. It isn't the most stable thing around and only good for short time use like a quick swap of a flat tire.

If you are looking for something to hold the car up you need some good jack stands.

I need something to raise the car high enough to use the jack stands and because of the factory recommended jack points, a factory issued jack seemed like a good choice. I need one for each side. The local wrecking yard want's $15 for a jack, all I needed was a picture to verify the correct one.
